We use The Creative Curriculum paired with Teaching Strategies GOLD® assessment system to ensure that each child receives personalized, developmentally-appropriate guidance that supports their cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development.
From infants to preschoolers, our classrooms are structured to include engaging interest centers — like art, music, books, science, and dramatic play — that spark curiosity and encourage exploration. Each area is thoughtfully designed to meet children where they are developmentally and challenge them through play-based learning.
Age-Based Programs That Grow with Your Child
Infant Program
(6 Weeks–16 Months)
Our infant care program is a gentle introduction to the world outside the home. With sensory activities, warm interactions, and an emphasis on routine, we support your baby’s brain development and overall well-being. Healthy meals and a cozy, secure environment ensure your little one’s earliest experiences are safe, stimulating, and full of love. Sign language is also incorporated into the daily routine in both infant classrooms, and they also benefit from weekly Spanish language lessons and music and movement class at no additional cost.
Toddler Program
(16 Months–33 Months)
This is where things start to get exciting. Toddlers are on the move, exploring independence, and developing their personalities. Our toddler rooms are full of music, creative movement, and play-based learning. We focus on social-emotional development, communication, and motor skills while continuing to introduce early literacy and numeracy concepts. Kinderplatz toddlers also attend weekly sign language, Spanish, and music and movement enrichment classes at no additional cost.
Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten Program
(33 Months–6 Years)
Our preschool program follows a play-based, child-centered approach designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence. All preschoolers enjoy weekly enrichment in American Sign Language, music and movement, and introductory Spanish — all included at no extra cost. For families seeking a more immersive language experience, we also offer a separate, full-day Spanish Immersion classroom led by fluent speakers. This mixed-age class covers the same core curriculum as our general preschool program but is delivered primarily in Spanish. No matter which classroom your child is in, they’ll experience hands-on science, cultural exploration, and engaging group activities that support kindergarten readiness and joyful, meaningful learning.
Healthy Kids Start with Healthy Habits
We believe what children eat is just as important as what they learn. That’s why we partner with Nick’s Wrap City Café (located right across the hall) to provide delicious, freshly prepared, eco-healthy lunches for our students. Our daycare center menu follows USDA Child Nutrition Program guidelines — no fried foods, just nourishing options prepared with care.
We serve milk during morning snack and lunch, accommodate dietary restrictions with parent-provided alternatives, and always keep Kinderplatz a nut-free zone for the safety of our community. Our goal? Happy tummies and energized kids ready to learn and play.

Do you offer part-time care?
Yes, we offer both full-time and part-time enrollment options based on availability.
What’s your child-to-teacher ratio?
We meet or exceed the state-mandated teacher-to-child ratios to ensure each child receives focused attention and care.
Are meals included in tuition?
Yes! Morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack are included in tuition. Our meals are prepared fresh by Kinderplatz staff and a local café and meet USDA nutrition standards.
Is Spanish immersion optional?
Yes, the Mariposa Spanish immersion classroom is a separate enrollment option for families who opt-in to the program for their child’s preschool and pre-kindergarten years. Spanish enrichment classes, however, are a free enrichment program offered to all other students at the center each week during the school year, and not to be confused with the language immersion classroom.
